The till without internet: how offline mode works
Losing the connection does not stop selling. The till keeps products on the device, queues sales and sends them by itself when the connection comes back.
What you need
- The till must be opened online at least once — that is when the program, products and buyers are stored.
- A modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox). No separate setting is needed.
Steps
Open the till online
On first opening, the product list is stored on the device.
The connection drops
A bar appears: "Internet is off — sales are stored locally". Products load from the stored list.
Keep selling
Sell as usual. If the server does not answer, the sale is stored on the device, stock goes down and the cart clears: "Saved ✓ will sync as soon as the connection returns".
Watch the queue
The bar shows how many sales are waiting to be sent.
The connection is back
Sales are sent automatically — when the connection returns, when the page opens and every 30 seconds. You will see "✓ N sales synced".
Good to know
- No fiscal receipt is printed for an offline sale — neither at the time nor after syncing. Receipts print only after the server confirms the sale.
- Only selling works offline. Returns, cash in/out, waybills, adding a buyer and loyalty balances need the internet.
- If the session expires, the queue waits and is sent after you log in again — no sale is lost.
- Card payment depends on the bank terminal, which needs its own connection.
