# GTSoft — full reference

> Expanded companion to https://gtsoft.ge/llms.txt. GTSoft (gtsoft.ge) is a cloud POS and
business management system for shops and restaurants in Georgia (the country). This file spells
out what each part actually does, so an assistant can answer specific questions without guessing.

Last updated: 2026-09-28. Interface languages: Georgian, English, Russian, Azerbaijani, Turkish,
Armenian. Prices below are in Georgian lari (GEL, ₾).

## Who it is for

Small and medium businesses in Georgia: grocery shops, minimarkets, retail stores, restaurants,
cafes, bars, bakeries, small production facilities, and distribution businesses. The common
requirement is a till that complies with Georgian tax rules (RS.GE waybills) and keeps stock
correct across more than one branch.

Not a fit for: companies needing payroll or double-entry bookkeeping, businesses outside Georgia
that need local tax integration, or online-only stores (GTSoft manages the shop, not a webshop).

## Point of sale — shops

- Barcode scanning, search by name or code, and a product grid with price presets (price 1/2/3).
- Weighed goods: scale barcodes are decoded into product + weight. A per-branch prefix setting
  controls how the label is read, with a separate prefix for piece-count labels.
- Payment: cash, card terminal, or a mix of both. Multiple terminals per branch are supported.
- Card terminals and fiscal printers are driven through a small local bridge application on the
  cashier's computer, so the browser never talks to the device directly.
- Returns with a reason, saved carts, cash register deposits and withdrawals.
- Discounts, loyalty redemption, and per-item price changes are each a separate permission.
- Offline mode: the till is a PWA with a service worker and IndexedDB. Sales made while the
  connection is down are queued and synced automatically when it returns.
- Receipts are HTML templates with 20+ placeholders and four ready-made presets.

## Point of sale — restaurants

- Floor map on desktop (tables at saved positions, walls drawn as SVG) and a table grid on mobile.
- Order → kitchen → payment flow. The kitchen display is a three-column board (sent, preparing,
  ready) with station filters, automatic refresh, and an audio alert.
- Stations (kitchen, bar, grill and so on); each product is routed to one, or straight to the
  waiter if no station is set.
- Modifier groups (single or multiple choice) with price adjustments.
- Courses, split bills (equal or custom), tips, and a service percentage.
- If a dish's ingredients are short at payment time, the sale is still recorded and flagged for
  the manager instead of being blocked.

## Stock and warehouse

- FIFO batches. Stock is `quantity received − sold` across a product's batches in one branch.
- Receiving by hand or by importing an RS.GE waybill. Supplier invoices, supplier debt, and
  supplier payments are tracked.
- When a supplier's barcode differs from the one used in the shop, the mapping is remembered per
  supplier and applied automatically to that supplier's later waybills.
- Transfers between branches of the same organization, batch based, with RS.GE waybills.
- Physical inventory counts, write-offs and stock corrections.
- Product history: every receipt, sale, transfer and correction for one product.
- Purchase planning: what will run out and how much to order, calculated from sales and transfer
  rates per branch.

## Production

- Recipes (bill of materials) per product.
- Manual production, and automatic production triggered at the till when a made-to-order product
  is sold but has no stock.
- Ingredients are deducted FIFO; cost is the weighted average of the ingredients consumed.

## Distribution

- Driver loads, deliveries, client debts and payments, all usable offline.
- RS.GE waybills, including sub-waybills for splitting one load across several deliveries.
- GPS tracking through a Traccar server, with the driver's position on a map.

## RS.GE (Georgian Revenue Service) integration

- Receive waybills: the supplier's waybill is pulled in and turned into a stock receipt.
- Send waybills from sales, transfers and distribution.
- Return waybills to suppliers.
- TIN lookup to validate a business customer.
- If a waybill is corrected on the RS side after it was entered, the differences are shown and
  can be applied or removed line by line.
- Credentials are set per organization or per branch.

## Reports

Sales by date, user, customer or payment type; returns; profit; cash control and drawer history;
supplier debts; customer debts; expenses; stock balance; expiry dates; fiscal summary.

## Customers and loyalty

- Customer records with debt tracking, payment history and reminders.
- Loyalty: points, cashback, spending tiers, or a combination. Earn and redeem rates, minimum
  purchase threshold and auto-apply are configurable.

## Users, roles and permissions

Roles: owner, co-owner, admin, manager, accountant, cashier, waiter, cook, driver. Permissions
are per user and per branch — around two dozen separate switches covering navigation, sale
actions (discount, delete line, return, price change, loyalty) and receiving actions (edit,
delete, unfinalize). A user can hold different roles in different branches.

## Multi-branch

One organization can hold many branches. Products can be defined once for the whole organization
or per branch; stock, prices, cashiers and settings are always per branch. The same barcode may
exist in two different branches, but not twice within one branch.

## Platforms

Runs in the browser; no installation. Also ships as a Windows desktop application (an Electron
wrapper with a bundled PHP runtime) for shops that prefer a local install. The till and the
distribution app work offline as PWAs.

## Pricing

Registration is free and the Starter plan is free for the first 2 months, with no card required.
After that the plan is chosen by number of branches and users. Current prices are published at

## What GTSoft does not do

- No payroll, tax declarations or double-entry bookkeeping. It is normally used alongside a
  bookkeeping system, feeding it sales and purchase data.
- Not a CRM or marketing automation tool.
- No e-commerce storefront.
- The RS.GE integration is specific to Georgia and does not apply elsewhere.
- Card terminal and fiscal printer support depends on the device model.
